MEET SIMON DAVIES

Simon Davies originates from Birmingham and began playing piano and violin from an early age and later explored and found his own style on guitar. He developed his ear as his influences changed and honed in on creating his own sound and songs, independently and with others. Influences range from The Beatles, Nick Drake, Jeff Buckley, Fleetwood Mac, Chilly Gonzalez, Susanne Sundfør, Jacob Collier and Snarky Puppy (plus the rest).

Simon has played in a range of bands, with early bands such as The Tone Thieves supporting The Ordinary Boys, Nizlopi and Dan Smith (Bastille). He has also worked closely with artist such as Chris Tye (Birmingham Singer/Songwriter) and can often be seen with this hypnotic talent alongside Jayne Powell.

With a soaring falsetto and soulful voice complemented by his soothing playing, Simon's distinguishable sound will resonate and engage with a range of audiences, young and old.

We hope to see you at a Simon Davies show soon.

In January 2018, Simon appeared on ITV's The Voice UK. Having all four judges turn their chairs for him, Simon received high appraisal from all the judges and joined Sir Tom Jones' team. His audition currently has over

- Radio Times

"I loved everything about it. The way you went in and out of falsetto is not easy to do [...] You did it with ease, like you were meant to do it. I couldn't fault it."
- Tom Jones

"I sing that song a lot in the car, and that is a hard song to sing. You absolutely smashed it."
- Olly Murs

"It's not just the voice but the passion. The way you were clinging on to every note resonated with me and then the liberties that you were taking with your voice [...] That was amazing."
- Jennifer Hudson

"You sounded spectacular. You have a gift"
